Your information and your choices
Privacy policy
ProgressTo Fit is operated by Daniel Radke, operating as Monkworks ("we," "us"). This policy covers our public website at progressto.fit and www.progressto.fit, and our training application at app.progressto.fit.

At a glance
- Your training account is private to you. Sharing a limited schedule is optional.
- We do not sell personal information or use advertising trackers.
- A wearable and AI coaching are optional. You can log workouts manually.
- Optional AI coaching sends selected information to the provider you consent to. Read what is shared below.
- You can export your account data and request deletion. Backup and third-party retention are explained below.
1. Information we collect
- Account information: your Google account identifier and email address from Google sign-in; your display name, timezone, invitation status, consent choices and account settings. Google authenticates you; we do not receive your Google password.
- Information you enter: fitness goals, events, available training time, exercise preferences, equipment, planned and completed workouts, actual sets and loads, effort ratings, notes and feedback. Onboarding responses and optional information about symptoms or limitations may include sensitive health information. Provide only what you want used for your training.
- Connected fitness data: when a supported connection is configured for your account, we retrieve the data available through that connection, such as activity dates, types, durations, distances, heart rate, pace, power, cadence, activity samples, and supported wellness records such as sleep, steps, resting heart rate or heart-rate variability. Availability depends on your device, provider and granted access. We also store connection credentials needed to retrieve that data, encrypted at rest.
- Original activity files: downloaded FIT files may contain precise GPS locations and routes, even though those coordinates are excluded from our normalized activity tables and automatically prepared AI context. Original files are kept in encrypted private storage. An export that includes original files may therefore contain location data.
- Information created by the app: training summaries, calculated fitness/load trends, plan proposals and approved versions, progress records, and—if you use Coach—messages, responses and proposal decisions.
- Technical information: session and sign-in security information, request identifiers, application routes, response status and timing, and operational or security events. Our hosting services necessarily process network information such as IP addresses to deliver and protect the service. Application request logs are designed to omit workout contents, credentials and raw activity payloads.
The public website has no registration form, advertising pixels or third-party analytics scripts. If you email us, we receive your email address and the information you include. Please do not email passwords, API keys or original activity files.
2. How we use information
We use information to authenticate you, operate your private account, import and log training, create user-reviewed plan suggestions, display progress and training trends, provide features you choose, respond to requests, protect the service, troubleshoot problems, and maintain backups. We use your preferences to help select suitable exercise options; we do not treat these preferences as a diagnosis.
ProgressTo Fit is a fitness planning and logging tool. Its calculations and suggestions are not medical diagnoses, treatment, or a guarantee of fitness or health outcomes.
3. When information is shared
- Hosting and storage: DigitalOcean hosts our application and database and stores encrypted offsite backups in DigitalOcean Spaces. Our current hosting and backup regions are in the United States.
- Sign-in and fitness connections: Google processes sign-in under its own policies. Garmin or another supported fitness provider processes requests and authorizations associated with a connection you choose to use. Business Garmin connectivity is under development and is subject to Garmin approval; this policy does not imply that it is available to every user.
- Optional AI providers: OpenAI or Anthropic may receive selected information if the conditions in section 4 are met.
- People you choose: optional schedule sharing makes a limited schedule view available to explicitly selected recipients. It excludes private notes, symptoms, detailed performance metrics, strength loads and GPS data. Revoking sharing stops future access through the app, but cannot remove copies a recipient already saved.
- Operations and legal obligations: the operator may access information as necessary to administer, support or secure the service and respond to your requests. We may disclose information when legally required or necessary to address fraud, security incidents or threats to safety. The service is not designed to make its hosting or database administrators technically unable to access stored account information.
We do not sell personal information, share it for targeted advertising, or provide it to data brokers. We do not use your Garmin data to train our own AI models.
4. Optional AI coaching
The core planner and manual logging work without an AI provider. Before optional AI coaching sends data, an administrator must enable a provider and you must consent to that provider in the app. The supported providers are OpenAI and Anthropic.
When you use this feature, your messages and selected training context may be sent to the active provider. Depending on your request, context can include goals, preferences, planned workouts, activity summaries and selected metrics, fitness/load trends, supported wellness summaries, feedback, strength logs, and reference material you choose to include. Some of this information may originate from Garmin.
Automatically prepared context excludes Garmin credentials, original FIT files, GPS coordinates and routes, and other athletes' private records. Your own message or reference text can still contain personal information you type or attach as text; avoid including information you do not want the provider to receive.
Consent can be withdrawn in the app. Withdrawing consent prevents future coaching requests to that provider; it cannot recall data already sent. Providers process and retain submitted information under their applicable API terms and privacy practices. Deleting a conversation in ProgressTo Fit does not itself delete a provider's copy. AI suggestions do not automatically approve material changes to your training plan.
5. Cookies, browser storage and security
The app uses necessary cookies for sign-in, session management and sign-in security. Browser storage remembers interface preferences, and an installed web app may cache its application shell for loading. Our service worker does not cache private API responses for offline use. The public website does not set advertising or analytics cookies.
We use HTTPS, account-scoped access controls, encrypted stored integration credentials and original activity files, and encrypted backups. Structured training records must remain available to the application for processing; we do not claim end-to-end encryption of the entire account. No service or security measure can guarantee absolute protection.
6. Retention and deletion
We retain account information and training history while you use the service, including prior plan versions and recorded decisions so that you can review your history. You can remove supported individual records, delete Coach conversations, or delete your account. Account deletion removes the account's records and original files from active storage after any running background work is safely stopped. Some requests may require a retry while that work stops or storage cleanup completes.
Encrypted backups made before deletion may still contain the information. We operate a 30-day backup retention window, with pruning after successful backups. During an outage, expiry can be delayed and the newest complete backup is retained for recovery, so deletion from backups is not guaranteed within exactly 30 days. Minimal deletion records—internal account identifiers, deletion time and record counts—are retained to help prevent deleted accounts from being restored. Recovery procedures reapply available deletion records; if a recovery omits a recent deletion, contact us so we can repeat it.
Copies held by fitness or AI providers, and exports or shared information saved by other people, follow their own retention and controls. Deleting your ProgressTo Fit account does not delete your Garmin or Google account.
7. Your choices and requests
- Access and export: use Setup → Your data to download an account export. Including original device files is optional and may include GPS data.
- Correction: edit supported settings and records in the app, or contact us for help correcting information.
- Deletion: use Setup → Your data → Delete my account, or contact us. Deletion requires confirmation and may require a fresh sign-in.
- Sharing and AI: revoke schedule-sharing grants or withdraw AI-provider consent in the app.
- Connected data: contact us to stop collection from a connection. You can also revoke a key or authorization through the provider where that control is available. Stopping a connection does not automatically erase previously imported history; request deletion separately.
- Other privacy rights: depending on where you live, you may have additional rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing, or receive a copy of your information. Contact us to exercise an applicable right. We may verify your identity before acting on requests.
Contact mr.daniel.radke@gmail.com with privacy questions or requests. We will respond to applicable requests within the time required by law.
8. Adults and international access
ProgressTo Fit is currently intended for adults aged 18 and over, with access limited to invited testers. We do not knowingly offer accounts to children. Contact us if you believe a child has provided information so we can investigate and remove it as appropriate.
If you use the service from outside the United States, your information will be processed on our United States hosting infrastructure and by any providers you choose to use, whose processing locations and legal protections may differ from those where you live.
9. Updates and contact
We will update this page when our practices change and revise the date above. For material changes affecting existing users, we will provide a notice through the app or contact information we hold and seek consent where required.
